FinAdvisor is an AI-powered personal finance software platform that connects to users' financial accounts and provides educational analysis, observations, and informational content related to budgeting, tax optimization, investment portfolios, credit card rewards, and major purchase planning.
FinAdvisor is an educational and informational tool only. It is not a licensed investment adviser, broker-dealer, financial planner, tax advisor, or insurance agent. Nothing on the platform constitutes investment advice, tax advice, legal advice, or any other form of professional financial advice.

By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet all eligibility requirements.
To access most features of FinAdvisor, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately at [email protected] of any unauthorized use of your account.
Each user may maintain only one account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent usage limits or subscription restrictions is prohibited.
New users receive a 7-day free trial with full access to all Pro features. No credit card is required to start a trial. The trial automatically expires after 7 days. Users who do not subscribe after the trial period will lose access to AI analysis features.
FinAdvisor offers the following subscription plans:
Prices are in US dollars and are subject to applicable taxes.
All Pro plans include a monthly AI credits allowance that resets on the first day of each calendar month. Credits are consumed as follows:
Current credit limits by plan: Trial — 20 credits total; Pro Founding Member — 100 credits per month; Pro Standard — 200 credits per month. Unused credits do not roll over to the following month. FinAdvisor reserves the right to adjust credit limits with 30 days' notice to active subscribers.
Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. Payment is processed by Stripe, Inc. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal accessible from your account Settings page. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to your subscription through the end of the current billing period. We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods except as required by applicable law.
Founding member pricing ($9.99/month or $89/year) is available to the first 200 paying subscribers and is locked for as long as the subscription remains active. If a founding member cancels their subscription, the founding member rate is forfeited and cannot be reinstated. Founding member status is non-transferable.
We reserve the right to change subscription prices for new subscribers at any time. Existing subscribers will receive 30 days' advance notice of any price changes. Founding members are exempt from price changes to their locked rate.
FinAdvisor uses Plaid Technologies, Inc. ("Plaid") to connect to your financial accounts. By connecting your accounts, you agree to Plaid's End User Privacy Policy available at plaid.com/legal. FinAdvisor's access to your financial accounts is read-only — we cannot initiate transactions, move funds, or modify your accounts in any way.
Financial data retrieved from your connected accounts is provided by Plaid and your financial institutions. FinAdvisor does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of this data. You should verify important financial information with your financial institution directly.
You may also enter financial data manually. You are responsible for the accuracy of manually entered data. FinAdvisor's analysis is only as accurate as the data you provide.
FinAdvisor uses artificial intelligence, including Anthropic's Claude API, to generate financial analysis and observations. AI-generated content:

FinAdvisor is not registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), or any state securities regulator as an investment adviser or broker-dealer. Portfolio observations, scenario analyses, and investment-related content are general educational information, not personalized investment advice. Nothing in the Service constitutes a buy, sell, or hold recommendation for any security.
You agree not to use the Service to:
The Service and all content, features, and functionality thereof — including but not limited to software, algorithms, text, graphics, logos, and user interface design — are owned by FinAdvisor Technologies Inc. and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. "FinAdvisor" and the FinAdvisor logo are trademarks of FinAdvisor Technologies Inc.
You retain ownership of the financial data you provide to the Service. By connecting your accounts or entering data, you grant FinAdvisor a limited license to use that data solely to provide the Service to you. We do not sell your data to third parties.
If you submit feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the Service, you grant FinAdvisor a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use such feedback for any purpose without compensation to you.
Your use of the Service is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in our Privacy Policy.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR ACCURACY. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, FINADVISOR TECHNOLOGIES INC. AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF DATA, OR FINANCIAL LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
FINADVISOR IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY FINANCIAL DECISIONS YOU MAKE BASED ON CONTENT OR ANALYSIS PROVIDED BY THE SERVICE. ALL FINANCIAL DECISIONS ARE MADE BY YOU AT YOUR SOLE DISCRETION AND RISK.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless FinAdvisor Technologies Inc. and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another person or entity.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. For matters involving Massachusetts operations, Massachusetts law may also apply.
Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall first be submitted to good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be resolved by binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, conducted in Boston, Massachusetts.
You agree to resolve disputes with FinAdvisor on an individual basis only and waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or any other reason at our sole discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections 6, 8, 10, 11, and 12 survive termination.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email to your registered address or by prominent notice on the Service at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
